I have also lost out on age previously, so I know how nice or horrible it can feel!

This post today is highlighting the players which have absolutely smashed PB out of the park, scoring over 300 in multiple games.

Now, we are only just over a season and half into Performance Buzz, so it may not be highly shocking when I tell you that only 3 players have achieved scores of 300+.

Compared to there being around 15 players that have scored 250+.

The three players in the 300 club are:

Lionel Messi, with 3 finishes.

Neymar, with 2 finishes.

Sergio Aguero, with 2 finishes.

Let’s take a look into it.

Lionel Messi

Messi has definitely set the bar here. He has an average PB of around 145, but his Peak Scores are monumental.

Of his scores over 300, he has earnt

304 vs PSV. These aren’t a pushover, so for Messi to score such a high score against good opposition shows how vital he can be as a PB own.

307 vs Dep La Coruna. These were relegated in the 17/18 season, so it’s no surprise here he got a huge score.

316 vs Espanyol. These are a mid-table team, Messi turned up on form, scoring his highest PB score yet. He scored a Hat Trick.

Although Messi has performed extremely well getting 3 Peak Scores, he’s also been very unfortunate not to have 5 x 300+ scores. He scored a 284 & 274 in other games.

Neymar is no stranger to PB, with an average of 165. He has scored 300+ on 2 different occasions.

In fact, he’s unlucky not to have the worlds first 400+ PB score.

He earnt a whopping 365 vs Red Star where he scored a hat trick.

He also earnt a huge 357 vs Dijon where he scored 4 goals, none including the GWG.

He’s also been unlucky, also scoring 289, 272 & 254 in other games.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Sergio Aguero

I was a little surprised at Aguero, although he has scored some amazing totals, it seems he’s an inconsistent PB hold due to his huge variations.

I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that any of the 10 outfield players can score for City, they’re one of the most unselfish teams I have watched.

Sergio Aguero has scored 303 on two occasions, which is a crazy little stat. He has also scored a 288, so unlucky not to be on 3 really.

His average PB is just 86, so although he’s our ‘Bronze Medal’ for Peak Scores, his inconsistency in terms of dividends actually put him 9th in our list of PB Yield.

He’s definitely proved he has a high score in his locker, though![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

The players I have mentioned today have multiple peak scores, showing ‘some’ consistency.
There are some anomalies, such as when John Stones once scored 359, which is a record for a defender!

Peak Scores offer little use as analysis, as you can’t utilise it as you can with Average PB scores and Deviation. However, it is a fun way of tracking the highest scores on the Index.

I wonder if we will ever see a 500+ score, that would be something![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Join football index[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
